My husband Smitty and I were bartenders when we met in 1982. We bought the tavern we met at in 1987. In 1992 we purchased a commercial building in Wayland and opened Smitty's Pop & Hops Shop and Renee's Pizza & Deli. Wayland being a two red light town, we started catering to enhance the exposure of our talents. 
Smitty now serves 20,000+ chicken bbqs and smokes our own specialy meats. We cater 20+ weddings yearly as well as company picnics, corporate events, graduation parties, clam bakes, steak roasts, and family celebrations. We offer fully catered, drop off and set up, as well as pick-up catering. All our food is homemade and cooked with love (no chef in a box). Remember, if there is no love being served at the table push yourself away.

We are a three generation catering company. Our three grown children as well as a grandaughter work with us in our endeavors. Our eldest son Eric is a 2003 graduate of The Institute of Culinary Education from Manhattan. Elijiah and Elise help us with bartending, graphic design, decorating and food preparation. To round out our company we have 15 to 20 employees we rely on for kitchen, transportation and catering support. Many of the key people are mother/daughter or son, siblings and married couples. We run a true family buisiness.
